Dr. Fabiano Lima Das Gracas, MD
Dr. Das Gracas is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonology. Before joining Lyracore, Dr. Das Gracas completed 3 years of internal medicine residency and 2 years of pulmonary disease fellowship at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY. There, he served as chief resident in his final year of residency in 2021 and was elected resident of the year that same year.
Attracted to medicine at a young age, Dr. Das Gracas was inspired by his uncle, also a physician, as well as by the chronic cardiac issues his mother experienced from a young age. Witnessing her struggles solidified his dream of becoming a medical doctor, hoping to use his knowledge to help her and others cure or control their chronic diseases. After attending Universidad Central del Este, in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic, where he graduated with honors, Dr. Das Gracas moved to New York for his residency. During this time, his hospital became one of the most impacted by the COVID-19 infection and he spent months treating patients in the critical care unit, during which his passion for pulmonary medicine grew.
A compassionate, communicative, and patient-centric physician, Dr. Das Gracas shares Lyracore’s mission to provide a clinical environment rooted in empathetic care and a dedication to excellence in managing pulmonary diseases.
Dr. Das Gracas is fluent in three languages (English, Spanish, and Portuguese) and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two daughters visiting parks, hiking, and relaxing on the beach.
Dr. Ryan Floyd, DO
We are thrilled to introduce Dr. Ryan Floyd, DO, as the newest addition to the exceptional team at Lyracore Pulmonary Health. With a unique background blending research and clinical expertise, Dr. Floyd brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for patient-centered care to our practice.
Board-certified in Pulmonary and Internal Medicine, Dr. Floyd’s journey to Lyracore has been marked by a dedication to both academic excellence and compassionate healthcare. Prior to joining us, Dr. Floyd embarked on a multifaceted academic path, initially pursuing a Cancer Biology Ph.D. candidacy after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida. It was during this time that Dr. Floyd’s fascination with the intricacies of human biology and disease processes was ignited, laying the foundation for his future career in medicine.
Dr. Floyd knew a career in medicine was in his future from the young age of 6 when he broke his wrist and was treated by a caring and energetic medical team. After completing his medical education at Lake Erie College of Medicine in Bradenton, FL, Dr. Floyd’s early aspirations leaned toward a research career. However, a pivotal experience during his undergraduate years—where he shadowed more senior physicians—instilled in him a profound appreciation for the human side of medicine. This encounter, coupled with his growing passion for patient care, ultimately led Dr. Floyd to pursue a career in clinical medicine.
Following medical school, Dr. Floyd further honed his skills and knowledge by delving into the realm of Drug Discovery at Moffitt Cancer Center. This experience not only deepened his understanding of cutting-edge medical research but also reinforced his commitment to delivering the highest standard of care to his patients.
Dr. Floyd’s dedication to compassionate patient care and his commitment to staying at the forefront of medical advancements perfectly align with Lyracore’s values. His emphasis on transparent communication and collaboration within the healthcare team reflects our shared commitment to excellence in pulmonary care.
Beyond the medical realm, Dr. Floyd enjoys time spent outdoors, particularly off-shore saltwater fishing.
